North Indian Restaurant & South Indian Restaurant in Dubai

In the year 2000 the first Gazebo restaurant was set up with an intention to introduce this fascinating style of cuisine to the city. Although initially it filled the gap in the market for an authentic Dum Pukth restaurant, today it leads in its category. Gazebo brings to the table traditional recipes from the royal kitchens of Lucknow, Awadh and the North Western Frontier, which were ruled by the Dum Pukht cuisine. Patrons cannot help but rave about the Raan-E-Sikandari, Jhinga Zaitooni, Murgh Zafrani Biryani, Dhingri Mutter Paneer and many more. Live coals are placed in layers under the cauldrons to impart just the right amount of heat to cook a particular dish. This, like many other little details, are part of the trade secrets which have been passed down from one generation to the next. The Biryani at Gazebo is legendary. It sits in the menu as the uncrowned king of the Dum Pukth family. Along with it are the famed grills of Gazebo. The fabulous ambience sets the mood for the cuisine that is truly fit for royalty. Irfan Gaya of Gazebo admits, “We are driven by passion – a passion for good food. Hence, we never make compromises, be it the quality of ingredients, authenticity of the cuisine, or the skill of the Chef. Adding cream to a dish doesn’t make it rich, it is the whole style of cooking that brings out the succulent taste and it is this proposition that we at Gazebo constantly work towards.”

In a time much different from ours, there was an awakening to the possibilities of good food. Certain men of passionate hearts and immaculate palates found innovation, adventure and a promise of greatness in culinary preparations. They were called ‘khansamas’ and they were chefs to some of the highest powers in ancient India. They created, perfected and carefully guarded the royal recipes and used exotic ingredients and aromatic spices, which molded the connoisseurs in the kings of those times.

Over the years, the khansamas have diminished in number and very few of their descendants have carried on their legacy. The few who have, however, are doing justice to the memory of their ancestors. Some have even found their calling, far from home; here in the UAE, and the Gazebo chain of restaurants, boast the presence of chefs who are their descendants.

A fine dining restaurant that has regaled the region for over 15 years, Gazebo has a legacy of exclusivity but a present of inclusiveness, molding signature presentations into forms that can be appreciated by and personalized for the adventurous novice and discerning veteran alike. Now offering catering services, every celebration can be a banquet truly fit for kings.

Be it an event for 30 or 3000, Gazebo Catering ensures the service of a course that offers a wide range of delicious and commendable delicacies, complete with attractions like live cooking stations for kababs, chaat, bread and tawa preparations; impeccable and stunning place settings and floral arrangements; and refined and assiduous service by liveried staff. So whether you are hosting a corporate event, a special occasion or a family get-together, you can luxuriate in the decadence once feasted upon by Mughal Emperors in their Kingdoms.
